Ngā Whakamārama - Service Description

Mother's from all over the Hutt Valley come together each week to support one another in their role as a mother.  Sessions are relaxed and the environment is warm, welcoming and friendly.  Mother's can expect to enjoy one anothers company, learn from one another and be exposed to a number of guest speakers from local providers and community agencies.

Activities include:

  • field trips
  • explore various career options and pathways
  • look at selfcare
  • health and wellbeing
  • learn new skills (parenting/crafts/gardening/cooking etc)
  • practical hands on workshops (nutrition/exercise)
  • Te Ao Māori component (karakia/waiata)
